This was a highly specilized Analogue to Digital to Analogue converter
board. You may need to read the (excellent) manual a few times to use
this board!
The board had 8 channels for Analogue to Digital conversion. Conversion took
12 nsec (50KHZ). The sampling was very programmable allowing the
setting of offsets, gains difference mode etc for each channel.
The board also had 8 channels for Digital to Analogue conversion with 2
microsec resolution. Again completely programmable. The board had dual
ported on board RAM and was IEEE-696 compatible. Communication could
be regular port I/O or memory mapped.
